With over 30 years of medical experience, Dr. Benjamin Herbosa is one of the most experienced surgeons in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is currently practicing in Asian Hospital and Medical Center, and Makati Medical Center, 2 of the most prominent hospitals in the Philippines.
He received his medical degree from the University of the East–Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC) in 1986, and accomplished his board certification for General Surgery and Plastic Surgery in 1993 and 1997 respectively.
Dr. Herbosa is currently a part of several medical organizations in the country. He is a fellow at the Philippine College of Surgeons, Philippine Society of General Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, International College of Surgeons, International Confederation of Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons, and the Philippine Association of Plastic Reconstructive And Aesthetic Surgeons (PAPRAS). He is also an international member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Herbosa has also held prominent positions in several key institutions in the industry. He served as a Governor for the Philippine College of Surgeons, External Vice President and is still currently serving as the Internal Vice President for PAPRAS. In spite of all this, Dr. Herbosa still finds time to use his practice to help those in need, doing volunteer work for Operation Smile and Smile Train, providing free cleft lip and palate surgery for children.
